01

Who we are

budgetr is a personal finance app for people in Nigeria. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. [Company name, address and registration number to be added.]

02

What we collect

Your name, email and sign-in details; the accounts, balances and transactions you link or add; the budgets, bills and goals you set up; and basic device and usage information.

03

Bank data through Mono

When you link a bank, Mono passes us a view-only copy of your balances and transactions. We never see or store your bank password, and we can never move money.

04

How we use it

To show you your money, sort transactions into categories, remind you about bills, answer your questions in Ask budgetr, and keep your account secure.

05

Who we share it with

Only the providers that help us run budgetr, such as Mono for bank links and Paystack for payments, and people in your group, for the accounts you choose to share. [Full list of processors to be added.]

06

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your data is deleted. [Retention periods for backups and legal records to be confirmed.]

07

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can see, correct, export or delete your data. You can download everything in your group from Settings at any time.
